Is boarding pass enough? ›

Generally, a passenger with an electronic ticket will only need a boarding pass. If a passenger has a paper airline ticket, that ticket (or flight coupon) may be required to be attached to the boarding pass for him or her to board the aircraft.

Your airline must offer you an alternative flight. It's up to you whether to fly as soon as possible, or at a later date that suits you. Airlines often refer to this as being 'rerouted'. If you want to fly as soon as possible, your airline must also provide care and assistance while you wait for the flight.

Skip the queues

If you have a disability, you can ask to skip the queue at security as part of your Special Assistance. Alternatively, you can pay a small fee to use priority or 'fast track' security lanes at many airports.
