God in the 10th Dimension: A Theory of Science and Religion (2024)

Many of you are very familiar with the 1st through 3rd dimensions of space and observation. If you aren’t, I’d very much like some insight on how one exists without the perception of the 3 dimensional universe that we experience. What some of you may not know is that physicists theorize that there are in fact10 dimensions, with M-Theory proposing 11 dimensions, andBosonic String Theory suggesting the possibility of26 dimensions! To gain a visual grasp of how this may be possible, Ultraculture.orgposted an article titled “Here’s a Visual Guide to the 10 Dimensions of Reality” that attempts to detail a visual interpretation of the 10 standard dimensions based on modern super string theory. We will begin by discussing the affects that these extra ‘unperceived’ dimensions have on reality, eventually building up to a theory of what God is and where such a being would or could exist in the universe.

To begin, I will summarize the dimensions as described in Ultraculture.org’s article:

The 1st-10th Dimensions Explained

1st Dimension

Based on length, or to simplify, a straight line, no depth or width but the mere measurement from one ‘point’ to another.

2nd Dimension

The additional factor of height to the 1st dimension. Reflect back to your high school geometry class, visualize that equation of length x width and you have yourself a 2 dimensional plane

3rd Dimension

Adds depth to the 2 dimensional plane. Think of a square as in the previous dimension and then visualize a cube, the three dimensional aspect of the cube makes it tangible in our observable word and not something that resides just on paper, it is the most common and observable dimension from the human perspective.

4th Dimension

Many consider the 4th to be comprised of time, or more precisely an object’s position in time. Time itself is perceived as a force that only moves forward, but never backwards, so there is some speculation as to whether time should be considered its own dimension, but for now we will roll with it, speculative as it may be.

5th Dimension

Here is where definition and explanation of string theory definitions begin to sound strange, obscure, and even surreal at times. Ultraculture.org describes the 5th dimension as “a world slightly different than ours, from which we could measure similarities and differences to our own world.” An article by NBC Newsfrom way back in 2006 describes scientific efforts to probe the 5th dimension. In the article, scientists explain that it is easier to understand the 5th dimension if you envision the 4th dimension as a sort of membrane that is embedded in a mass comprised of other dimensions. The theory following the 5th dimension is what brings the concept of gravitons into the physics discussion. It is theorized that gravitons are particles tht have the capability to transcend the barriers between the 4th and 5th dimension, meaning that the gravitons must be traversing from a nearby, potentially similar world or universe, constrained by the same dimensions we currently are.

6th Dimension

Again, you’ll have to bear with the phenomenological theories that are involved with the 5th dimensions and on. Theorists suggest that the 6th dimension is described as a plane with every possible world beginning with the same starting conditions such as the big bang. Entering the realm of the 6th dimension is where we begin to encounter theories such as the multiverse theory and the many worlds interpretation. Imagine every possible formation of the world as we know it duplicated across a flat plane, but each world is an amalgamation of every potentiality and possible development of the world.

7th Dimension

This one is simple to explain if you have been keeping up with the concepts of the 1st through 6th dimensions. Essentially, the 7th dimension is a plane of all possible worlds but withdifferent starting conditions, as in every potential world formation from every possible primary event, not limited to the big bang but as expansive enough to cover potential starting conditions that we either haven’t predicted or theorized yet, or are beyond conception from our place in space and time.

8th Dimension

Re-visualize the 7th dimension, every possible world with every potential starting condition, but these worlds extend and reach infinitely. The 8th dimension and on begins to become hard to conceptualize through description and graphics. Quick research comes up with conjectural and subjective interpretations of what the 8th dimension actually is. The theories and thoughts I’ve found from people’s personal interpretations of the 8th dimension brought me to some pretty weird places on the internet. For lack of any better way to describe it, I will share with you an interesting though/interpretation of the 8th dimension from the perspective of an individual during an Ayahuasca trip. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ayahuasca, it is described by ayahuasca-info.com as “an Amazonian plant mixture that is capable of inducing altered states of consciousness, usually lasting between 4 to 8 hours after ingestion.” The primary component of Ayahuasca is a molecular structure known as DMT (Dimethyltriptamine), also monikered as ‘the God particle.’ DMT and it’s brewed form of Ayahuasca is a strong hallucinogenic compound, with DMT being a natural chemical compound found in all living things, including plants and humans. It is also believed that DMT is a chemical hormone released during REM dream states, and is expelled into the brain when one approaches death. The strength of this hallucinogenic compound has been used spiritually for the dramatic and extravagant changes it has on the consumer’s consciousness. In an article by Aubrey Marcus, the eigth dimension was perceived through exactly a particularly strong Ayahuasca trip and explains it as “the realm of pure potentiality.” Apart from some inaccurate descriptions of transcendence between 5th through 7th dimensions via hallucinogenic ingestion, this particular quote is as close of a detailed cescription I have for the 8th dimension, it is a plane of infinite worlds with infinitely different starting conditions combined with the infinite and ever lasting production and conditions of those worlds through time (the 4th dimension)

9th Dimension

For lack of any realistic way to perfectly describe the 9th dimension, envision as best you can the concepts described in the 8th dimension but coupled with every possible, and vastly varying laws of physics. Imagine a universe just like ours, but instead of physics laws such as Newton’s third law (every action must have an equal an opposite reaction) either didn’t exist or were differential such as changing the law on a different dimensional world, Newton’s third law might be described as ‘every action must be responded with a subliminal or minor reaction, meaning energy dissipates instead of flows on a continuum).

10th Dimension

Infinite potentiality, everything that is possible exists in some for or another, worlds obey differential and infinite arrays of physical laws and attributes, including the depths of the metaphysical level, think true infinity on a universal scale. The 10th dimension is the epitome of the multiverse theory and survives today through the endless research and pursuit from quantum physicists and scientists all attempting to compose a tome or scripture commonly referred to in the scientific community as the ‘theory of everything.’

God and the 10th Dimension

Here I’m going to discuss a personal theory that I have come up with about the existence of god in the physical universe(s). I believe that the primary reason we have not directly been able to observe or find traces of an ultimate power, because god, being omnipresent must be in all places at all times, the best explanation I can come up with for this is that God is a 10th dimensional being able to observe and interact with the 1st through 10th dimensions. We, as human beings are limited to 3-dimensional space and therefor can’t observe beyond that, with the arguable exception of time being the 4th dimension. This means that God would have the ability to interact with our physical universe in ways that many would perceive to be as miracles, or impossible events in the natural world. God interacts with us as he does every possible universe, and every potentiality. God is all knowing, justifying the argument in physics that anything that is possible can and will happen with God being able to observe every intricacy and every movement and features of the multiverse. God, also being all powerful has the ability to interact with every universe at any given time.

What arises next is a question of motive, or intent, such as what is the meaning of life? Why are we here? I believe that the multiverse in the 10th dimension is God’s creation and each universe is an experiment in every possibility, every potentiality. Our concept of heaven might be the transcendence of the soul, or our consciousness to the 10th dimension, the real of infinite possibilities and infinite worlds. Many biblical references describe heaven as a place where everything you could ever want exists, this being possible through the multi-verse ad 10-dimensional theory of God.

Please keep in mind that this is a personal theory of mine, but I would really like to hear anyone else’s opinions, objections, or counter theories to this. I understand that it is not the most christian or contemporary religious dogma, but it was a thought that’s been running through my mind for a while now, so please feel free to leave your remarks in the comments section.
