Though Disney states that with Genie+ on My Disney Experience, guests cannot book more than one Lightning Lane selection at a time, there is a way to “stack” multiple selections around the same time.

Guests with Genie+ may book their first attraction starting at 7:00 a.m. on the day of their visit. In the Tip Board section of My Disney Experience, it will suggest the next available window open for each attraction. You can only book one Lightning Lane selection at a time.

No matter what window you select for an attraction’s Lightning Lane, you will be able to book another Lightning Lane selection after using the first or after the window expires, 2 hours after park open, or 2 hours after booking a selection.

You may also cancel Lightning Lane selections you made with Genie+ if you change your mind. Individually purchased Lightning Lane selections cannot be canceled.

To hold more than one Lightning Lane selection at once, guests have to wait two hours (120 minutes) after making the initial selection.

For example, at 7:00 a.m., we booked a Slinky Dog Dash return window of 3:25 p.m. – 4:25 p.m. Two hours after the park opened, we were then able to book access to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror from 3:35 p.m. – 4:35 p.m. These times overlap, but we can hold both because they are not the exact same window.

At 1 p.m., we selected a Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run window of 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Finally, at 3 p.m., we added another ride with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith from 6:10 p.m. – 7:10 p.m.
So over the course of six hours, we were able to book three Lightning Lane windows via Genie+ for the evening, plus the one we booked before the park opened. This will allow us to do a number of attractions in sequence with little to no wait.
The caveat is that you cannot choose your time slot, you can only book the next available window, so you have to monitor the app to time it right.

Ah, the intricacies of Disney's Genie+ system—a topic I'm well-versed in! Let me walk you through the evidence that supports the stacking strategy mentioned in the article.
Firstly, the article discusses the Genie+ service on My Disney Experience, highlighting that guests can't initially book more than one Lightning Lane selection at a time. This is a key rule laid out by Disney. However, the author reveals a clever workaround—stacking multiple selections around the same time.
The evidence comes in the form of a detailed explanation of the process. Guests are allowed to book their first Lightning Lane attraction at 7:00 a.m. on the day of their visit, and the Tip Board section suggests the next available window for each attraction. Crucially, it's emphasized that one can only book one Lightning Lane selection at a time.
Now, here's where the stacking magic happens. After using the first Lightning Lane selection or when its window expires (which could be 2 hours after park open or 2 hours after booking a selection), guests can book another Lightning Lane selection. The ability to cancel selections made with Genie+ is also pointed out, except for individually purchased Lightning Lane selections.
The clincher for stacking success is waiting for two hours (120 minutes) after making the initial selection to hold more than one Lightning Lane selection simultaneously. The article provides a practical example, illustrating how they booked multiple attractions with overlapping time windows over a span of six hours.
The caveat, as outlined in the article, is that guests cannot choose their time slot; they can only book the next available window. Therefore, monitoring the app becomes crucial to time the selections right. The article also teases other Disney Genie guides for further insights.
In a nutshell, the evidence provided in the article not only showcases a deep understanding of the Genie+ system but also offers a practical strategy for maximizing Lightning Lane selections at Disney parks. If you're planning a day of Disney magic with minimal wait times, this stacking technique is a game-changer!
