Laremy Tunsil will become the NFL's highest-paid left tackle for the second time. Laremy Tunsil's new deal repeats the previous deal. In 2020, the left tackle received a $66 million contract, with $50 million guaranteed, valid through the end of 2023. The deal made Tunsil the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history up to that point, a feat that has been achieved again with the new contract.
The new pact will once again make Tunsil the NFL's highest-paid offensive lineman.
This makes him once again the highest paid tackle in the league with 25 million per year, ahead of Trent Williams of the 49ers and David Bakhtiari of the Packers.
Interestingly, Tunsil has no manager. The left tackle negotiated both contract extensions on his own.
Acquired via a trade with the Miami Dolphins in 2019, Tunsil played 50 games in four seasons for the Texans. Selected in the first round of the 2016 Draft, the left tackle has 94 career games played over seven seasons. Tunsil was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
